Sentence Court

Judge Timothy McCune handed down the following sentences on Thursday:

Robert David Ernst, 45, of Butler was sentenced to six months of intermediate punishment for driving under the influence on April 4. Ernst, who pleaded guilty on Jan. 9, must also pay a $750 fine and take part in 60 hours of community service.

Kayla Brianne Thompson, 24, of Grove City was sentenced to six months of intermediate punishment for driving under the influence. She pleaded guilty on Nov. 16 after being sentenced on June 16, 2017. Thompson must pay a $1,000 fine and serve 60 hours of community service as part of her sentence. In a second case, Thompson was sentenced to six months of probation and must pay a $50 fine for drug paraphernalia. She was charged on July 7, 2017 and pleaded guilty on Nov. 16.

Samantha Layne Boucher, 31, of New Kensington was sentenced to one year of probation and a $100 fine for theft. Boucher pleaded guilty on Feb. 5 and was charged on April 4.

Daveon Shakur Thompson, 25, of Detroit was sentenced to 15 to 54 months in state prison for possession with intent to deliver, to which he pleaded guilty on Feb. 6. He has been in Butler County Prison since March 29 and received credit for time served.

Brittany Amber Eyrich, 32, of Fombell was sentenced to six years of intermediate punishment for driving under the influence on July 16. Eyrich must also pay a $1,000 fine and serve 60 hours of community service for the offense to which she pleaded guilty on Jan. 29.

Richard Russel Wells, 30, of Evans City was sentenced to two years of intermediate punishment for the corruption of minors and recklessly endangering another person. Wells pleaded guilty to the charges on Jan. 15 and was originally charged on Oct. 11, 2017. Wells must also serve 100 hours of community service.

Justin Ronald Wagner, 28, of Prospect was sentenced to 10 years of intermediate punishment for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. For the charges, to which he pleaded guilty on Jan. 8, Wagner must also serve 50 hours of community service and pay a $2,500 fine. Wagner was charged on March 15.

Jessica Jane Davis, 32, of Harrisville was sentenced to six months of probation and 35 hours of community service for disorderly conduct on July 29, 2017. She pleaded guilty on Oct. 10.

Raymond D. Wise Jr., 61, who has no known address, was sentenced to six months to one year in jail for harassment and unauthorized use of a motorized vehicle. He pleaded guilty on Jan. 8 and was charged on June 27. In a second case, Wise was sentenced to three to six months plus an extra 90 days in jail for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license, to which he pleaded guilty on Jan. 7 and was charged on July 25. He is also directed to pay $1,250 in fines and 60 hours of community service. This sentence runs simultaneously with the other one.

Ewari Wayne A. Shackelford Ellis, 36, of Butler was sentenced to six months to one year in jail for recklessly endangering another person and he was immediately paroled for receiving credit for time served. He also must serve a year of probation for the charge to which he pleaded guilty on Feb. 6 and was charged on Sept. 18, 2017. In three other cases, he was fined $50 each for a total of $150 for disorderly conduct. In one case, he was charged on Nov. 13, 2017; in a second, he was charged on Jan. 20, 2018; and in a third, he was charged on July 18.

Daniel John Dimond, 47, of Cranberry was sentenced to six months of intermediate punishment and one year probation for driving under the influence and recklessly endangering another person on Sept. 2. He must also serve 110 hours of community service and pay a $500 fine. He pleaded guilty on Jan. 9.

Jonathan Wayne Trotter, 44, of Wexford was sentenced to five days to six months in jail for driving under the influence after pleading guilty on Dec. 17. He must also pay a $300 fine and serve 60 hours of community service. He was charged on Feb. 14, 2018. In a second case, he was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail and one year of probation for driving under the influence and criminal mischief. Trotter must also pay a $1,000 fine and serve 60 hours of community service. He pleaded guilty on Dec. 17 and was charged on Jan. 31, 2018.

Leighton James Meals, 26, of Mars was sentenced to five years of intermediate punishment, 100 hours of community service, and a $1,700 fine for driving under the influence and driving without a license. He was charged on April 6, 2017, and pleaded guilty on Jan. 16, 2018.
