HIS Kids School kindergartners Jordan Spinetti and Jadyn Tack-Stillwell received lessons in chopstick use from Mrs. Xiaojuan (Tracy) Burtner, mother of HIS Kids students Ian and Ethan during Chinese New Year celebrations last week. Burtner visited with students during lunchtime to teach them about the Chinese culture.The cafeteria staff served a chicken teriyaki and rice lunch to all. Mrs. Burtner circulated from table to table to instruct students on how to hold and use chopstick properly.She also told students about how people from China celebrate the weeklong New Year’s holiday.
