Man arrested for suspected marijuana grow operation

OAKLAND TWP — State police arrested a man Tuesday in connection with a suspected 2017 indoor marijuana grow operation at his home, where 78 plants and growing equipment were seized.

Chad E. Schnur, 45, was arraigned on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

He remains free on his own recognizance while awaiting a hearing in the case later this month.

A “knock and talk” investigation led troopers with the police vice unit to Schnur's Route 68 home on May 24, 2017.
