Carnegie Science Center, North Side, opens “Da Vinci The Exhibition,” highlighting the achievements of Leonardo da Vinci, on Saturday and it runs through April 9. “Engineer the Future” will be Feb. 21 to 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., has opened the exhibition “A Great Day for Hockey,” showcasing items from all five Penguins Stanley Cup teams. In recognition of Black History Month, the center’s African-American Program is presenting programs in February. The exhibit “Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission” concludes Monday. National Aviary, 700 Arch St., has announced that the 25th day of each month will feature activities, prizes or discounts, in celebration of the Allegheny Regional Asset District’s 25th Year and its support of the aviary.
