PITTSBURGHMendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, which features singers from Butler County, will perform “Let My People Go! A Spiritual Journey Along the Underground Railroad” at 8 p.m. Feb. 15. The concert is a collaboration with Ebenezer Baptist Church, where the concert will take place. The same concert will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16 at Grove City College, and at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at West Virginia University. Butler area performers include Deanna Golden, Holly Furman, Norrie Bastedo, Liana Alksnitis Lloyd, Earle Ashbridge and Ed Jaicks.Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra will give a free concert at 2 p.m. Feb. 16 at Heinz Hall, 600 Penn Ave. The 85 musicians will perform selections including “Mother Goose Suite” by Maurice Ravel and “Enigma Variations” by Edward Elgar.
