Raiders get 'Might-y' effort in win

SV outlasts Central Cath.; Union girls edge Moniteau

Marcus Might scored 19 points to lead four Seneca Valley boys basketball players in double digits Friday night in a 67-57 road win over Central Catholic in a key section victory.

Trey Berringer added 14 points, Gabe Lawson 12 and Mason Bush 11 for the Raiders (8-7, 3-4).

Waltman scored 33 points and also had 18 rebounds in the setback that dropped Karns City to 10-6 overall and 4-2 in the KSAC.

Haley Cramer and Maddie Karchut both added 11 points for Seneca Valley.

The Raiders will be back in action Saturday at 4 p.m. against Peters Township at the second annual Joey Fabus Memorial Classic at Bethel Park.

Redbank Valley 35, Karns City 31 — The Gremlins couldn't overcome a three-point halftime deficit as they fell to Redbank Valley.

Emma Johns led the way with 12 points, while Brooke Manuel helped with seven for Karns City.
