LANCASTER TWP — First responders handled two separate accidents at the same location Monday, one of which saw a vehicle roll over into an embankment.

The rollover was reported just before 3 p.m. Monday in the southbound lanes Interstate 79 south of E. Lancaster Road. A single vehicle appeared to have lost control and overturned, coming to a rest upright on the right side embankment.

Crews from the Harmony Fire District and Harmony EMS responded to the scene along with State Police.

While working at the scene, a second, two-vehicle accident involving an SUV and pickup truck. The truck appeared to sustain rear-end damage, while the SUV was damaged in the driver's side.

Traffic was slowed and reduced to one lane as crews worked to clear the scenes.
