Fahlor, Waltman spark KC victory

Great efforts from Austin Fahlor and Nathan Waltman sparked Karns City to a 62-50 boys basketball victory at Venango Catholic Friday night.

Fahlor, a guard, totaled 23 points and eight rebounds. Waltman, a forward, posted 21 points and eight rebounds as the Gremlins improved to 8-5.

Josh Wimer had seven assists in the win.

A balanced scoring effort lifted A-C Valley past visiting North Clarion, 56-38.

Kylee Eaton led the Falcons (10-3) with 15 points, but Cami McNany and Olivia Boocks also had solid nights with 13 and 12, respectively.

Moniteau 65, Clarion-Limestone 24 — Sophomore forward Ivie Scott had a breakout game for the Warriors, scoring 18 points and controlling 14 rebounds.

Aslyn Pry also had a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards.

Kristin Auvil led Moniteau in scoring with 23 points.
