Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., displays “Meissen Treasures,” a temporary exhibit of 13 seldom-seen German Meissen porcelain pieces, through early spring. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children under 8 accompanied by an adult. Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., offers tours from 1 to 4 p.m. daily, except when the museum is closed Mondays. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens, and $3 for youths 6 to 17. Call 724-452-7341.

PITTSBURGH

Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., hosts the seventh annual NFL PLAY 60 Training Camp for youths from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 26. As part of the event, admission to the museum is free for children 17 and younger, courtesy of Dick’s Sporting Goods. Continuing is the exhibit “Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission” which explores the space race, through Feb. 18. Center hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $18 for adults, $15 for senior citizens, $9 for children 6 to 17, and free for children 5 and younger. Military receive $2 off admission. Call 412-454-6000.

Children’s Museum, Allegheny Square, hosts “Rube Goldberg: The World of Hilarious Invention!” through May 5. Activities are planned for Monday the celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $16 for adults and $14 for children 2 to 18 and senior citizens. Call 412-322-5058.

Carnegie Museum of Natural History, 4400 Forbes Ave., hosts the exhibition “Reptiles: Live!” through May 12. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except closed Tuesdays, plus hours are extended until 8 p.m. most Thursdays. Admission is $19.95 for adults, $14.95 for senior citizens, and $11.95 for children. Fort Pitt Museum, Point State Park, is closed for exhibition maintenance and will reopen Feb. 2.
