The Butler Parks, Recreation Grounds and Facilities Authority is trying to create a Pullman Park Booster Club to support and promote the ballpark.

Authority members briefly discussed the club at a meeting Monday.

“The purpose of the Pullman Park Booster Club is to financially aid, support and promote Pullman Park along with its programming and events throughout the year,” reads the club membership application that Dean Selfridge, authority operations manager, said has been distributed.

Members will have access to a club suite during ball games and events, and can use the Yankee Suite for private parties and events at a discount rate. Members also receive discounts on ballgame and event tickets.

Membership for a single person costs $20 and a membership for a family of up to four costs $35 and $5 for each additional adult family member.

In other business, the authority voted to seek proposals from accounting firms to conduct the 2018 audit.

The authority also accepted the resignation of board member John Vissari.
