Firefighters responded to a trailer fire Tuesday night at Saxony Estates in Saxonburg across the street from Knoch High School.

Neighbors called 911 after seeing smoke pouring out of the trailer on West Red Oak Drive.

One neighbor said the couple who own the trailer was not home at the time, but their three dogs and two cats were inside the trailer.

The three dogs died in the fire, and the two cats have been missing since Tuesday night, according to the neighbor.
