Sentencing Court

Butler County Judge William Shaffer handed down the following sentences on Thursday:

Brandon Michael Harvey, 20, of Erie was sentenced to six months of probation for driving under the influence. He must also pay a $300 fine and serve 60 hours of community service. Harvey pleaded guilty to the charge on Dec. 3, 2018, during which several charges were dropped: three DUI-related charges and a traffic violation. Harvey was originally charged on March 22, 2018.

Brandon Scott Wissinger, 29, of Sarver was sentenced to 27 to 54 months in jail for receiving stolen property. Wissinger, who received credit for time served, must also pay restitution. Wissinger pleaded guilty on Dec. 6, 2018. He was originally charged on Dec. 2, 2017, with criminal conspiracy, engaging in burglary, criminal conspiracy engaging in robbery, criminal conspiracy engaging in theft, receiving stolen property, criminal conspiracy aggravated assault, and criminal conspiracy simple assault.

Rachel Marie Allio, 37, of Slippery Rock was sentenced to one year of probation for retail theft, to which she pleaded guilty Nov. 26, 2018. Allio was charged with two counts of retail theft on Nov. 24, 2017.

James Thomas Matuke III, 30, of Butler was sentenced to two to five years in state prison for contraband/controlled substance. He received credit for time served. Matuke pleaded guilty on Dec. 5, 2018, and was originally charged on July 20 that same year.
