Smith, Nissel

Kiel and Amber Nissel

Amber N. Smith of St. Marys and Kiel T. Nissel of St. Marys and were united in marriage Sept. 29, 2018, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler. The Rev. Anthony Sciarappa officiated. A reception followed at the White Barn in Prospect.

The bride is the daughter of David and Terry Smith of Canton, Ohio. Parents of the bridegroom are Tom and Betsy Nissel of St. Marys.

The honor attendant was Kate Bartolomucci of Cleveland. Bridesmaids included Callie Benedetti of Canton, Ohio, Caroline Baker of Pittsburgh, Amy Evans of Mercer, Megan Dellaquila of St. Marys and Kelsey Johnson of Harleysville.

The flower girl was Camryn Dellaquila of St. Marys.

Performing the duties of best man was Eric Mastrogiacomo of Hartford, Conn. Ushers included Dan Hawkins of Richmond, Va., Steve Dellaquila of St. Marys, Ed Reith of Pittsburgh, Nick Madia of Atlanta and Kyle Garner of St. Marys.

The ring bearer was Carson Dellaquila of St. Marys.

The bride is a 2011 graduate of Glenoak High School in Canton, Ohio, and a 2016 graduate of Grove City College with a bachelor’s degree in biology and Duquesne University with a bachelor’s degrees in nursing.

She is employed by Penn Highlands Elk Hospital, St. Marys.

The bridegroom graduated from Elk County Catholic High School in 2008 and from Grove City College in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

He is employed by Mersen Graphite in St. Marys.

Following a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple is making their home in St. Marys.
