Altman scores 18, but Butler girls fall

Behind Fusco, Mars boys roll past Indiana

Emilee Altman scored 18 points — all on 3-pointers — but the Butler girls basketball team was edged on the road by Fox Chapel, 56-53, Friday night in the section opener.

The Golden Tornado led 35-31 at the half and by three points heading into the fourth quarter, but couldn't hold on.

Jordan Kauffman added 15 points for Butler (2-2, 0-1).
