ROCKLAND TWP, Venango County — A Rimersburg man was killed Tuesday evening and another man was injured in a two-vehicle crash in southeastern Venango County, authorities said.

Willard A. Conner, 65, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck on Route 322 just east of the North Country National Scenic Trail in Rockland Township.

State police said Conner was driving a 2002 Dodge Neon east about 6:15 p.m. when for an unknown reason he traveled into the opposing lane and collided with a westbound 2008 Saturn Aura.

John J. Michael, 42, of Emlenton, the other driver, was taken by ambulance to UPMC Northwest in Seneca with unknown injuries.

Michael’s three passengers were not injured.
