Sentencing Court

Butler County Judge William Shaffer handed down the following sentences Monday:

Mac Adam Lieberman, 31, Pittsburgh was sentenced to four years of probation after pleading guilty Oct. 31 to indecent exposure. Lieberman originally faced charges of corruption of minors, indecent exposure and open lewdness. Charges were filed Dec. 31, 2015, by state police.

Shawn Michael Wedlock, 44, of Butler was sentenced to six months of probation for disorderly conduct, to which he pleaded guilty Oct. 29, and must also pay a $200 fine. Wedlock initially faced an additional two charges of resisting arrest and theft May 29.

Brandy Lynn Lane, 31, of Butler was sentenced to a maximum of one year in prison after pleading guilty Oct. 31 to defiant trespass. The minimum is her credit for time served. She originally faced an additional charge of criminal trespassing from an incident June 23. In a second case, Lane was sentenced to three years of intermediate punishment for possession of a controlled substance, to which she pleaded guilty Oct. 31. Dating back to March 8, Lane faced an additional charge of possessing drug paraphernalia. She also received credit for time served in this case.

Shelby Marie Kildoo, 21, of Cabot was sentenced to six months of probation for disorderly conduct, to which she pleaded guilty Oct. 31. Kildoo was charged Sept. 18 with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, purchase of alcohol by a minor and failure to inspect a newly purchased vehicle.

Dalton Parker Welsh, 25, of McKeesport was sentenced to three years of probation. He pleaded guilty Oct. 22 to possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver and driving under the influence. On May 10, Welsh was charged with 11 drug violations. Welsh must also pay restitution plus $325 in fines and fees and serve 60 hours of community service. Welsh originally was charged on April 28 with careless driving, exceeding the speed limit and DUI.

Garette Joseph Fritz, 19, of Erie was sentenced to five years of intermediate punishment and fined $1,500 after pleading guilty to driving under the influence on Oct. 22. Fritz originally faced six DUI charges and a charge of underage purchase of alcohol for a May 31 incident.

John Robert Zeitler, 49, of Butler was sentenced to four to eight months in prison for fleeing or attempting to elude police and three years probation for driving under the influence. He must pay a $1,000 fine, serve 150 hours of community and serve 105 days of house arrest with electronic monitoring for driving with a blood-alcohol level greater than .02 percent with a suspended license. Zeitler pleaded guilty on Oct. 22 to charges that date back to Oct. 26, 2017. He originally faced five DUI-related offenses.

David Michael Stumpf, 36, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to five years of intermediate punishment for driving under the influence. He was fined $1,500 plus an additional $1,000 for driving with a suspended license, and for that must also serve 90 days of intermediate punishment, along with 50 hours of community service.

Zackary Michael Nuzum, 20, of Allison Park was sentenced to nine months of probation for possession of drug paraphernalia, to which he pleaded guilty Monday. He was fined $75. Nuzum was originally charged Feb. 17.

Robert David Cravener, Sr., 45, who has no specified address, was sentenced to incarceration for a maximum of one year and a minimum of the time he already served for theft by deception. Immediately paroled, Cravener must also pay restitution. Cravener was originally charged on July 19, 2017, and faced two theft by deception charges. He pleaded guilty on Jan. 18.

Douglas Jermaine Watson Sr., 43, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to six to 23 months in prison, 30 hours of community service and one year of probation for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, to which he pleaded guilty on Friday. He was originally charged on May 23 with the additional charges of possession of firearm prohibited and firearms not to be carried without a license.

Oscar Sasse Jr., 47, of Butler was sentence to 15 to 30 months of incarceration for criminally attempting to buy a firearm by making a false statement on an application and for statement under penalty. Sasse was found guilty on Oct. 17 during a trial for charges that originated in May.

Christopher William Thompson, 23, of Butler was sentenced to nine to 23 months’ incarceration for burglary, which he plead guilty to on Oct. 31. He was credited for time served, allowing him to be immediately paroled. For the burglary, he was also sentenced to four years of probation and must pay restitution. He was originally charged on March 19 with two counts of burglary, one count of theft, criminal mischief and defiant trespass. In a second case, he was sentenced to six months of probation for driving under the influence. He must also pay costs and fines and serve 50 hours of community service. Thompson was originally charged with four DUI related offenses and careless driving on April 24.

Frank Regis Novak Jr., 33, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to three years of intermediate punishment and must pay restitution for retail theft, to which he pleaded guilty to on Oct. 22. Novak originally faced four charges of retail theft, one charge of receiving stolen property and two counts of defiant trespass actual communication on Jan. 9. In a second case, he was sentenced to another three years of intermediate punishment for retail theft and he received credit for time served. Novak plead guilty to the charge on Oct. 22, stemming from a case on Nov. 20, 2017. In this case he originally faced an additional two charges of receiving stolen property.

Samantha Ranee Barge, 29, of Sharpsville was sentenced to two years of intermediate punishment for theft in the third degree, which she plead guilty to on Oct. 31. She originally faced six forgery and two theft charges dating back to June 20.

Kristopher R. Brook, 36, of Butler was sentenced to three months to a year of incarceration for possession of a controlled substance. He was immediately paroled after gaining credit for time served. Brook pleaded guilty on April 4. He was initially charged on Nov. 3, 2017, with an additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Matthew James Cline, 34, of Butler was sentenced to a year of probation for disorderly conduct. Cline originally faced forgery, receiving stolen property, two counterfeit access device and disorderly conduct charges on March 21. In a plea deal on Oct. 31, all the other charges were dismissed.

Douglas Good, 57, of Butler must pay fines and victim compensation for disorderly conduct, which he pleaded guilty to on Oct. 31. He was originally charged on June 30, 2017, for strangulation and simple assault.

Annette Gail Budner, 56, of Butler was sentenced to six months of probation and must pay $4.24 in restitution for retail theft, a crime she pleaded guilty to on Oct. 22. Before the plea deal, Budner was facing an extra felony retail theft charge and a defiant trespass actual communication charge. She was charged on July 3.

Dorothy Marie Littlejohn, 41, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to two years of intermediate punishment for retail theft, which she pleaded guilty to on June 5. Littlejohn was originally charged on Nov. 17, 2017, with two charges of retail theft.
