7:42 a.m. Dec. 10 — An unknown driver hit a car being driven by Sarah E. Shick, 23, of Evans City on Woodlands Road. The unknown driver drove away and police have described the unknown car as an older, blue passenger car. Shick was uninjured.

11 p.m. Nov. 20 to 8 a.m. Nov. 21 — Police are investigating the theft of 74 Oxycodone pills from a 74-year-old Boyers Road resident.

2:10 p.m. Dec. 10 — Mark W. King, 69, of Slippery Rock drove onto Brent Road into the path of a car being driven by a minor. Police said the minor suffered an injury but he was not treated. Neither King nor his passenger was treated for injuries. Air bags were activated in both cars. Both cars were towed.

10:46 a.m. Nov. 17 — Jerold Dambaugh, 71, of Butler is charged with hit-and-run and careless driving after colliding with a car driven by Richard Stack, 31, of Butler while Dambaugh was merging his car onto Benbrook Road.

3:26 p.m. Dec. 8 — Police charged Amy Lennon, 49, of Butler with retail theft after Walmart’s Loss Prevention unit stopped Lennon from leaving the store with merchandise valued at $167.65.
