Katlyn Marie Monday of Butler and Justin Lee Swartzlander of Leechburg were united in marriage Sept. 1, 2018, at the Butler Country Club. The Rev. Gary Lyon officiated. A reception followed at Butler Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Chris and Barb Monday of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Jeff and Holly Swartzlander of New Kensington.
The honor attendant was Nicole Kirkwood of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Kristin Bowser of Butler, Hannah Miller of Butler and Christy Miller of Utah.
Performing the duties of best man was B.J. Swartzlander of Sarver. Ushers included Colin Bowser of Butler, Justin Spike of Philadelphia and Mike Slinkard of Sharpsburg.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Butler High School and a 2013 graduate of Penn State Behrend.
She is employed by Butler Memorial Hospital.
The bridegroom graduated from Shady Side Academy in 2006 and George Washington University in 2012.
He is employed by Curtis Wright in Cheswick.
Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Leechburg.
