WWII vets honored

Last month the American Legion sponsored a program in regard to World War II. It was held at Karns City High School in the large gymnasium. The students sat on the floor and were overwhelmed.

The program was a tribute to the service of two veterans, Don J. Weiland and Stanley McCullough. It was very touching. The two men were picked to receive Quilts of Valor.

The program was well received by all.
