The recent power outage was not very pleasant for thousands of people.

I believe we owe a debt of thanks to West Penn Power, and in my case Central Electric, for their efforts. Especially, we should thank the crews that worked tirelessly for 12-hour shifts in all kinds of weather to restore power. Our power was out for four days, and I know there were many people who were without power longer. The men and women on these crews worked steadily until the power was restored to everyone.

Again, I thank them for their efforts.
