Court Hearings

EVANS CITY — District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard the following cases.

John Paul Lawther Jr., 42, of Butler was held for court on charges of writing bad checks. Charges were filed Sept. 4 by Jackson Township police.

Alexander Ryan Williams, 27, of Harmony waived charges of terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness. Charges were filed Nov. 15 by Jackson Township police.

Elijah Joab Simmons, 22, of Ellwood City waived charges of DUI. Charges were filed Nov. 5 by Zelienople police.

Earl William King, 56, of Ellwood City waived charges of DUI, failure to signal a turn and disregarding a traffic lane. Charges were filed Nov. 5 by Jackson Township police.

James Edward Blurton, 64, of Butler waived charges of DUI and disregarding a traffic lane. Charges were filed Sept. 19 by Jackson Township police.

Brian Thomas Lugin, 32, of McKees Rocks waived charges of burglary, criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen property, theft, carrying a firearm without a license and prohibited possession of a firearm. Charges were filed Nov. 20 by Adams Township police.

Bradley Joseph Wentz, 33, of Valencia waived charges of attempted robbery, assault, disorderly conduct and obstruction of a highway. Charges were filed Oct. 18 by Adams Township police.

Wayne Edward Nicklas, 71, of Evans City waived charges of DUI, disregarding a traffic lane and careless driving. Charges were filed Aug. 31 by state police.

Tammy Lynn Kerchner, 58, of Mars waived charges of DUI. Charges were filed Oct. 24 by Mars police.
