BUTLER TWP — Nobody was injured in two vehicle accidents that occurred in the midst of Wednesday's quick afternoon snowfall.

About 2:25 p.m. Wednesday a woman flipped her vehicle on Eagle Mill Road, according to state police. The accident was attributed to poor road conditions.

The second, separate accident occurred 10 minutes later at 2:35 p.m. when a man lost control of his Dodge Ram pickup truck and slammed it into a tree on Woodridge Road. The driver, a man believed to be in his 20s, told officers that he lost his brakes, township police said.

Before the truck hit the tree, it took out a mailbox on nearby Belmont Road. It was snowing around the time of the crash, but police said they do not believe road conditions were a factor.

The wreck remains under investigation.

No other information was immediately available.
