Leo and Marge Geibel

Leo “Bert” and Marge Geibel of Hilliards celebrated 50 years of marriage with a Nov. 3 family dinner at W. Rick’s Taproom and Grill, Meridian.

Geibel married the former Margaret Smith on Nov. 16, 1968, at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.

They have two children, Mark (Jackie) Geibel of Harrisville and Sharon Geibel (Dominic) Lovich of Butler.

They also have four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Geibel retired from law enforcement.

He is a member of VFW Post 1132 in Kane.

Mrs. Geibel retired from law enforcement.

She is a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

The Geibels are members of Chicora United Methodist Church.
