CRANBERRY TWP — District Judge David Kovach recently heard the following cases.

Joseph J. Nuzzo, 45, of Cranberry Township waived for court charges of DUI: general impairment of driving safely first offense, DUI: highest rate of alcohol first offense, and careless driving. Charges were filed Oct. 2 by Cranberry Township police.

Shanice M. Dewalt, 24, of Detroit waived for court charges of forgery — unauthorized act in writing, counterfeit access device, theft by deception or false impression, three counts of possession of an instrument of crime with intent, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and simple assault. A charge of robbery was dismissed. Charges were filed Oct. 30 by Cranberry Township police.

Traci L. Pitt, 42, of Cranberry Township waived for court charges of overnight burglary with no person present; criminal trespassing by entering a structure; manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; tampering with or fabricating physical evidence; and possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered. Charges were filed Oct. 24 by Cranberry Township police.

Jennifer Brown, 43, of Pittsburgh was held for court on charges of forgery, theft by deception or false impression, receiving stolen property and bad checks. Charges were filed Oct. 17 by Cranberry Township police.

Nerson Amini, 18, of Pittsburgh waived for court charges of retail theft taking merchandise, criminal trespassing by entering a structure, false identification to law enforcement, and criminal mischief damaging property with intent. Charges were filed Sept. 11 by Cranberry Township police.

Ethan D. Poczynski, 25, of Valencia waived for court charges of DUI: general impairment of driving safely first offense, DUI: highest rate of alcohol first offense, driving an unregistered vehicle, and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection. Charges were filed Sept. 20 by state police.

Michael Coyne, 58, of Sewickley waived for court charges of DUI: general impairment of driving safely first offense, DUI: highest rate of alcohol first offense, failure to stop at a red signal, and careless driving. Charges were filed Sept. 24 by Cranberry Township police.

Zachary W. Potts, 25, of Washington, Pa., was held for court on charges of DUI: general impairment of driving safely first offense, DUI: general impairment, and careless driving. Charges were filed Sept. 27 by Cranberry Township police.

Kristin L. Terry, 30, of Monaca was held for court on a charge of retail theft taking merchandise. The charge was filed Oct. 16 by Cranberry Township police.
