Over 2,700 still without power

Almost six days after a storm last week caused widespread power loss, a combined 2,745 customers are still without power, according to information collected by West Penn Power and Central Electric Cooperative.

For West Penn Customers, the majority affected are in Penn, Middlesex, Butler and Center Townships.

On Monday, Ted Meyers, a spokesman for West Penn had said that while most people would have their power restored by Monday night, some would still be left without any power. It's unclear when the power will be fully restored.
