Boil water advisory issued for two mobile home parks

A boil water advisory has been issued for two mobile home parks in the county Monday afternoon due to issues from the ongoing power outages.

Sandy Hill Estates, located in Middlesex Township, and Port O' Call mobile home park, located in Penn Township, have both been issued water boil advisories by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.

The advisory was issued due power outages causing a loss in positive pressure for the mobile home parks distribution systems, according to Butler County Emergency Management Planner Amy Marree.

Over 280 people are affected by these advisory and at this time it is unknown when the boil advisory will be lifted.
