SRU football upsets LIU in first round of NCAA playoffs
BROOKVILLE, NY -- Slippery Rock University has upset LIU Post in the first round of the NCAA Division 2 football playoffs, defeating LIU 20-14.
Slippery Rock snapped LIU 's 15-game win streak, which was the longest in the country.
Slippery Rock will face either the University of New Haven or West Chester University in the second round on Nov. 24.
