CRANBERRY TWP — A two car accident closed one lane of traffic on Route 19 Wednesday.

The accident occurred just before 12:15 p.m. in the southbound lanes and involved two mid-sized sport utility vehicles. One of the vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage.

The center lane as well as the inside southbound lane were closed to traffic as crews cleaned up debris.

No additional information was available at the scene.

The accident occurred about a hour after another accident less than half a mile south on Route 19.
