CENTER TWP — Center Township road department is treating Route 308 after the driver of a car traveling south at 10:20 a.m. apparently lost control on the icy road and ended up in a ditch.

State police said the car, traveling down a hill, crossed over the lane and ended up on berm on the north side of the road. It sustained heavy front end damage.

The driver, an older woman, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital by Butler Ambulance Service to be evaluated. Her car was towed.

Also at the scene was Unionville Fire Department.
