Danehy 50th anniversary
Robert and Sylvia Danehy of Saxonburg celebrated 50 years of marriage with an October trip to Williasmburg, Va., with their son and his wife, their daughter and her husband and their grandchildren.
Danehy married the former Sylvia Spincic on Nov. 16, 1968, at SS. Philip and James Roman Catholic Church in New Castle.
They have two children, Teri (Steve) Grendzinski of Pittsburgh and Tim (Annette) Danehy of Clinton Township.
They also have two grandchildren.
Danehy is a retired electrical engineer.He is a Eucharistic minister at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot and is co-chairman of the St. Joseph Fall Festival.Mrs. Danehy is a retired registered nurse, a former Navy nurse and treatment center coordinator for the Myasthenia Gravis Association.She also is a Eucharistic minister at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot and is co-chairman of the St. Joseph Fall Festival.
