Moniteau's Parenti D-9 Lineman of Year

Moniteau's James Parenti (55) has been named District 9 Large School Division Offensive Lineman of the Year. He made first-team defensive lineman as well.

Moniteau senior James Parenti has been named District 9 Large School Offensive Lineman of the Year.

The 6-foot-2, 270-pound Parenti was joined by Ridgway's Chase Pontious (Defensive Lineman of Year), Bradford running back Donny Pattison (Offensive MVP) and Ridgway's Evan Furlong (Defensive MVP) as a major award winner in the Large School Division.

Karns City's Bradon Bastian joined Parenti as a first team offensive linman. The Warriors' Cody Wise and Gremlins' Hunter Jones are first team running backs.

KC's Madden McMillen is a first-team tight end and the Gremlins' Josh Wimer is a first-team punter.

Nick Martino and Wise of Moniteau are first-team linebackers, as is Karns City's Nathan Waltman. Parenti made first-team defensive line while teammate Chance Nagy made first-team safety.

On the District 9 Small School Division team, Union/A-C Valley's Joe Dehart made first-team offensive and defensive line. The Falcon Knights' Nolan Cumberland earned honorable mention at safety.
