11:03 p.m. Oct. 24 — Chester E. Gladd Jr., 25, of Boyers faces several charges after police say he intentionally drove through a cornfield on the 900 block of Mahood Road in Clay Township and did “doughnuts.”

The investigation later found that Gladd was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance, according to a police report, and he had suspected marijuana.

Police said he is facing charges including DUI, possession of a small amount of suspected marijuana and agricultural crop destruction.

12:12 a.m. Oct. 12 — April D. Hemphill, 33, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Route 38 at Henricks Road in Summit Township.

8:21 p.m. Nov. 4 — Johnnie Brown, 24 and Nikole Tarr, 48, both of Butler, were charged with retail theft and criminal conspiracy to commit retail theft. A loss prevention officer at the Butler commons Walmart observed the two at a self-checkout register not scanning 32 items valued at $82, according to police.

1:14 p.m. Nov. 3 — Police charged Linda Jean Caccamo, 53, of Butler with retail theft from the Butler Commons Walmart at $198.22 worth of taken goods.

10:31 p.m. Oct. 26 — Nicholas Clark, 29, of Bolivar lost control of his car on wet pavement on Sawmill Run Road and hit a tree. Clark and a passenger weren’t injured but the car had to be towed.

5:47 a.m. Oct. 23 — Joshua James White, 30, of Lyndora was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief after police said he broke a rear window at Beer Zone and stole 25 cases of beer.
