DeJidas leads Freeport to win

Knoch, SV, SR, A-C Valley volleyball also earn victories

Ally DeJidas had 14 kills and 10 service points as Freeport downed Deer Lakes 25-21, 25-10, 25-16.

Haley Graham and Mackensey Jack each added 10 service points and six kills and Maddie Clark pitched in 14 points, three aces and 31 assists for the Yellowjackets (13-2, 12-0).

Freeport will play in the North Allegheny tournament this weekend before opening up the PIAA 2A playoffs next week.

The Yellowjackets' junior varsity team also won to complete an undefeated season. Freeport's JV didn't lose a single set this year.

Knoch 3, New Castle 0 — Ally Albert had a big service night with 23 points as the Knights closed the regular season with a 25-11, 25-5, 25-12 rout.

Kennedy Christy had eight kills and 20 points and Hannah Rowe 11 kills for Knoch (18-0, 14-0).

Seneca Valley 3, Butler 1 — The Raiders closed the season with a 25-21, 25-27, 25-18, 25-18 victory.

No individual stats were available for Seneca Valley.

Butler (10-6, 6-6) received 11 kills and four blocks from Sophia Sacriponte.

The Golden Tornado will open the WPIAL 4A playoffs next week.

A-C Valley 3, Keystone 0 — Kylee Eaton had 17 kills and Olivia Boocks 11 kills and 10 digs to lead the Falcons to a 25-19, 25-14, 25-9 sweep.

Emily Wetzel added 25 service points, six aces and 19 assists for A-C Valley (13-2).

Slippery Rock 3, Franklin 0 — Morgan Malinski had eight kills, 22 assists and nine digs for the Rockets in a 25-20, 25-19, 25-18 victory.

Lexis Prementine added eight kills, Taylor Balint 14 digs and Annike Peale six kills for Slippery Rock (6-9).

Tidioute Charter 3, Union 2 —Morgan Cumberland had 30 assists and Bryn Davis 16 kills, but the Damsels lost a heartbreaker 22-25, 25-11, 23-25, 25-22, 14-16.

Dominika Logue pitched in 10 kills, Vanessa Reddick seven kills and Marli Hawk 17 assists for Union.

Girls Soccer

Olivia Rumbaugh scored off an assist by Hunter Dittman, but Karns City dropped its regular-season finale to Wilmington, 3-1.
