Mars High School evacuated after 2nd bomb threat

For the second time in two days, Mars High School was evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Students were moved to the Middle School while Adams Township police searched the school.

According to letter to parents from the school, no device was found and police officials deemed the building to be safe.

Students returned to class at 12:15 p.m. and continued with their regularly scheduled classes.

All evening activities for Oct. 17 at Mars Area High School will continue as scheduled.

Students were also evacuated from the high school Tuesday morning due to bomb threat.

Police performed a sweep of the school during the Tuesday threat and also found no device.
