Frost advisory issued for Butler Co.

Bring in your plants and pull out some warm blankets and sweaters tonight. The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a frost advisory for Butler County.

The advisory, which was released at 2:22 p.m. Monday will be in effect from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday morning. Temperatures are expected to fall to the low- to mid-30s.

Sensitive outdoor plants should be covered and or brought inside as the frost can damage the plants.

The advisory is in effect for surrounding counties including Beaver, Armstrong, Lawrence and Clarion.
