NEW BUTLER HS STADIUM
More than 7,300 fans packed into the newly built Butler High School football stadium in 1964. It was a fitting inaugural event for the 276,500-foot facility on the hilltop campus. Some of the finishing touches still needed to be applied to the gridiron layout. Coach Art Bernadi’s team produced a thrilling 40-21 win over the visiting Beaver Falls Tigers.
