Butler’s junior high boys cross country team placed second overall, the girls team sixth overall at the recent North Allegheny Invitational.

Joel McCloskey and Drew Griffith placed ninth and 10th, respectively, in the boys race for the Golden Tornado. Gideon Goettler and Legend Wilkinson also medaled, placing 19th and 20th.

Ava Brewster placed 20th overall and medaled for the Butler girls. Aliyah Young finished in 28th place.
