Police: heroin buyer turns into head-banger
A case of buyer’s remorse?
That’s what a Butler man apparently claimed after city police got a call last month for someone banging his head into a wall outside the Butler Middle School on East North Street.
Police said they found the alleged head-banger, 25-year-old Joshua J. Space, on Sept. 18 walking on East New Castle Street.
When asked about his behavior, according to court documents, Space told an officer that he was “mad at himself for buying heroin earlier (that day).”
He admitted that he had heroin in his pocket, police said.
Police last week charged Space with a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance.
