A person died today in Muddy Creek Township after an accident involving a dump truck at the Pilot Travel Center, according state police.

A person died today in Muddy Creek Township after an accident involving a dump truck at the Pilot Travel Center, according state police.

“It is my understanding that a dump truck ran over and killed a pedestrian,” said Capt. Steve Ignatz of the state police.

The original incident call came across emergency dispatch about 1 p.m. saying a man was under a tractor trailer.

State police say several state troopers are on the scene and the police collision reconstruction unit is at scene.

No other information was immediately available.
