1:30 a.m., Sept. 16 — An ATV was stolen from a home on Rockdale Road in Jefferson Township. The 59-year-old owner said the ATV is worth $8,000. Anyone with information is asked to call 724-284-8100.

12:54 p.m., Sept. 23 — A driver was unable to stop his truck while driving on Greenwood Drive and it struck a tree. He told police that the brakes on his 2008 Ford pickup didn’t respond when he stepped on the brake pedal. The driver walked away unscathed but the truck had to be towed away, police said.

1:20 p.m., Sept. 23 — Police responding to calls of an unconscious woman in Butler Memorial Park found a man who told them he had performed CPR on her. She had regained consciousness, police said. A used syringe was found at the scene and police said they suspected the woman had overdosed. The woman refused medical attention and was not given any Naloxone products. No arrests were made.

Sept. 24 — Police arrested Ricardo Darnell Bryant, 64, of Butler for having a bag of what they believed was crack cocaine. The arresting officer saw Bryant, who was wanted for a warrant, walking to his car at a gas station at 503 W. Jefferson St. when he was stopped and searched.

Sept. 24 — A resident of South Sixth Street called police to report that a man later identified as Robert K. Wymer Jr., 37, of Butler, entered his home with a baseball bat and threatened him.

Sept. 24, 4:42 p.m. — Police arrested Chad Joseph Hustak, 21, of Butler after an argument with his boyfriend escalated to a physical fight. Hustak allegedly pushed his boyfriend to the ground and bit his back, police said. Officers responding noted a bite mark on the man’s back and cuts on his left knee.
