CRANBERRY TWP - The driver of a Subaru Legacy was injured Friday morning after the vehicle ran off Plains Church Road and collided with a tree.

The driver was transported to Allegheny General Hospital and was the only one in the car during the crash.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene about 8:50 a.m. and worked to clear the area of the vehicle and debris.

Both entrances to Plains Church Road are closed and motorists should expect delays.
