Hunter Dittman scored three goals and added an assist Monday as Karns City defeated Forest, 6-1, Monday in girls soccer.

Olivia Rumbaugh had a goal and three assists for the Gremlins (4-1) while Alyson Fennell and Rossi McMillen both scored a goal.

Freeport 4, East Allegheny 1 — Emma Check scored a pair of goals for the Yellowjackets while Sidney Shemanski and Abby Bastaja both scored once and assisted once.

Carlie Giori and Natalie Doerr also added an assist. Goalkeepers Maddie Wagner and Maddie Zarichnak both made two saves for the Yellowjackets (4-2, 3-1).

Butler 5, Shaler 0 — The Golden Tornado received a goal from five different players — Maggie Hays, Gabby Boden, McKenna Robinson, Aidyn Trettle and Chloe Weiland.

Paige Miller stopped 10 shots for Butler (3-2-1, 2-2).

Boys Soccer

Austin Fahlor and Dakota King each scored a pair of goals as Karns City downed Redbank Valley, 5-1, in the mud.

Nate Rondinelli also scored for the Gremlins (6-0).

Girls Volleyball

Kennedy Christy, Hannah Rowe and Skylar Burkett each had nine kills as Knoch won its 30th consecutive match dating back to last season's state title team, 25-23, 25-20, 25-12, over Armstrong.

Kerrie Fitzpatrick added 14 service points for the Knights (6-0, 4-0).

Butler 3, Mars 0 — Sophia Sacriponte had 10 kills and two blocks and Sophia Lucas pitched in six kills and 14 digs as the Golden Tornado swept the Planets, 25-10, 25-13, 25-18.

Maria Lucas added seven kills for Butler (3-2, 2-2).

Ridgway 3, Karns City 0 — Despite a 25-16, 25-23, 25-13 loss, Mackenzie Dunn had 45 digs for the Gremlins.
