10:08 a.m. Saturday — Police said Nathan Brown Jr., 25, of Butler was cited for criminal mischief after entering a home on Whitestown Road and punching a hole in a bedroom door during an argument.9:53 p.m. Friday — Police said Rodrichard Walker, 49, of Butler was driving on Center Avenue when he failed to stop and rear-ended a vehicle driven by Maria Bocian, 40, of Butler, which was stopped at a red light. Police said the crash pushed Bocian's vehicle into a vehicle driven by Roy Funk, 65, of Butler.Two passengers in Funk's vehicle, Hazel Funk, 96, of Cabot and Marsha Funk, 59, of California suffered minor injuries and were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment. All three vehicle sustained moderate or severe damage and were towed from the scene. Police said Walker was arrested on suspicion of DUI, and charges have not been filed.7:06 p.m. Friday — Police said Angela Lascuola, 38, of Butler was cited for harassment after allegedly biting someone during an argument at a home on Old Plank Road.2:40 a.m. Thursday — Police said Randy L. Halstead Sr., 49, of Hilliards was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers observed an empty stamp bag of heroin on the front seat of a vehicle Halstead was in behind the Super 8 motel on Pittsburgh Road.8:49 p.m. Sept. 12 — Police said Robert Jones, 32, of Centerville was charged with resisting arrest, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after an incident at the Super 8 motel on Pittsburgh Road. Police said officers responding to a disturbance call found Jones visibly intoxicated. He resisted arrest, police said, and was Tasered before being arrested.4:39 a.m. Sept. 8 — Police said Donte Brandon, 23, and Xzavia Adams, 20, both of Butler, were charged with disorderly conduct after causing a large disturbance at Eat N' Park on New Castle Road. Police said Brandon was also charged with public drunkenness.12:40 p.m. Sept. 5 — Police said Mark Holmes, 33, of Butler was charged with hit and run to an attended vehicle, hit and run to an unattended vehicle, two counts of duty to give information, reckless driving, driving under suspension and harassment, after an incident at Walmart.Police said Holmes had fled Walmart after being stopped for suspected shoplifting shortly before the vehicle accidents, which occurred in the store's parking lot. Police said Holmes also pushed the driver of one vehicle he allegedly hit during his getaway, and nearly struck a pedestrian and caused a third accident.12:40 p.m. Sept. 5 — Police said Emerald Adamik, 34, and Mark Holmes Jr., 33, both of Butler, were charged with retail theft, criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen property, after attempting to steal $215.66 worth of merchandise from Walmart6:40 p.m. Aug. 31 — Police said Larry Shahan, 52, of Butler stole 26 items valued at $172 from Walmart and used prepaid shopping bags to conceal them. Police said he was stopped by security while attempting to leave the store and has been charged with retail theft.9:19 p.m. Aug. 20 — Police charged Christopher W. Thompson, 23, of Butler, with DUI-controlled substance, DUI-metabolite of a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on road laned for traffic and careless driving. Charges were filed after a one-vehicle accident on Meridian Road in which no one was injured.9:49 a.m. July 6 — Police charged Melissa Confer, 28, of Chicora with sale or transfer of a firearm and unsworn falsification to authorities, after an investigation into Confer making a false statement on an ATF form at Walmart in the Butler Commons shopping plaza, in an attempt to buy a firearm.6:15 p.m. July 10 — Police said Colby L. Waters, 39, of Butler was charged with theft of mislaid property after allegedly stealing a wallet left on a counter at Taco Bell in Moraine Pointe Plaza.
