7:09 p.m. Aug. 30 — Brittany Renee Zukowski, 30, of Saxonburg was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and possessing methamphetamine, according to a police report. Police said a passenger in Zukowski’s car, Darren R. Halli, 40, of Zelienople, was also arrested on an unrelated warrant.

Police said DUI charges are pending for Zukowski until blood test results are received.

12:15 p.m. Aug. 29 — Police said Michael Jesse Simms faces charges of driving under the influence in the 1800 block of North Main Street after a citizen reported erratic driving.

5:51 p.m. Aug. 28 — Police said Chelsey Noah Ziacik faces charges of driving under the influence in the 200 block of West Water Street after field sobriety tests.

1:53 p.m. Aug. 24 — Police said Larry Lint, 51, of Parker hit a road sign with his vehicle on Eau Claire Road near Murrin Road and then hit a tree, causing the tree to fall onto his Chevrolet Silverado. Lint told police he then left the scene and fell asleep before reporting the accident.

9:45 p.m. Aug. 23 — Lehighton James Meals, 25, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police arrived in the 500 block of Upper Harmony Road to respond to a harassment report.
