Freshman Paige Scott carded a 35 Monday as the Butler girls golf team defeated Pine-Richland 162-189 at Hiland Golf Course.

Maggie Feczko added a 37 for the Golden Tornado (2-0), who face Armstrong Tuesday at Kittanning Country Club. Butler's team score was one stroke shy of the school record.

Laura Freyvogel paced Pine-Richland with a 38.
