Karen Pierce, library director, said the library is moving into a 2,240-square-foot building at 465 N. Main St.

“It's like eight times bigger,” Pierce said.

Forrest said the move has been progressing well, but there are still some finishing touches needed.

“We're hoping to be open shortly after Labor Day,” she said.
