Moraine State Park, Muddy Creek Township, will host Muddy Creek oil well demonstrations from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the central powerhouse beyond the State Parks Region 2 office, 195 Park Road.

McConnells Mill State Park in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, has the gristmill open from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. Interpretive tours are offered at 1 and 2 p.m. and by appointment. Admission, parking and tours are free. A Salamander Safari is set for 4 p.m. Saturday from the Hell’s Hollow Trail parking lot.
