Woman back behind bars for suspected pretrial, probation violations
A woman accused of endangering her then-unborn child and her 8-year-old daughter after overdosing on heroin is back in prison after authorities say she violated the terms of her pretrial supervision and probation.
Kasey R. Dischman, 31, of Butler is also facing new charges including possessing drug contraband.
Two Butler County probation officers were headed to Dischman’s home in connection with alleged probation violations about 11 a.m. Monday when they spotted her driving a motorcycle at East Wayne Street and South Main Street in Butler.
The officers followed her to a Butler Township pizza shop where she works, and arrested her, county Detective Tim Fennell said in charging documents.
She was eventually taken to the Butler County Prison and found with a metal crack pipe that was wrapped in a shirt inside her backpack
She is charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary count of driving with a suspended license.
She remains jailed on a detainer for the suspected pretrial and probation violations.
Dischman last year was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault of an unborn child following her alleged overdose June 22, 2017, at her former East Butler home.
State police accused her of injecting a stamp bag of heroin that she found under her couch and overdosing on the floor of her bathroom. She was seven months pregnant at the time.
