Butler resident Patrick Reddick loves his job and where he does it.
He is in his third season as general manager of the Butler BlueSox Prospect League baseball team, but has been involved with the franchise for all 10 seasons of its existence.
Reddick's duties include everything from running the team's website to running the scoreboard to serving as the official scorer for all home games.
Not a bad gig for someone who loves baseball. The fact that it comes in Reddick's hometown makes it even better.
Reddick deals with a lot of issues, both planned for and unexpected. But his family has ties to Kelly Automotive Park, home of the Sox, which adds to his enjoyment of coming to work.
