Karns City graduate Blaine Wilson, right, received a $1,000 scholarship from Jill Martin-Rend, director of Butler County Community College's Brockway campus, at the third annual Frank Varischetti All-Star football game recently at Brockway High School. Wilson was one of 14 all-stars chosen to receive a scholarship, the criteria based on academics, community involvement and a submitted essay. Wilson will enroll in general studies at BC3.
